Test setup: CF5 control cable

In this test, the service life expectancy of the CF5.10.25 with cores wound in bundles in an e-chain with a 100mm radius was to be investigated.

The CF5 control cable family is available in an insane number of core/cross section combinations. 1.5mm and 2.5mm cross sections are very often used in indoor cranes to supply buttons, limit switches, motors or even simple lamps. With a test result of over 42 million strokes with significant sagging, it could be confirmed that the cable more than meets the durability requirements in a crane application.
