Collection and storage of personal data as well as the type and purpose of their processingThe pictures taken via the photo box are temporarily saved in order to make them available. If sharing via e-mail is desired, the name and e-mail address will also be processed. The legal basis for processing is consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 a) GDPR).
You can also consent to the publication of your photo free of charge via the social media sites of igus GmbH. If you do so, igus GmbH will publish your photo as it sees fit in one or more of its own sites on popular social media platforms. The legal basis for processing is consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 a) GDPR).
In both cases, consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time, for example via e-mail to de-lowcostautomation@igus.net. In this case, igus® will immediately delete the photo from its own social media site or even delete it completely. This does not exclude possible participation in the associated competition.
igus® points out that when publishing on the Internet, the reproduction of the photos and therefore further use cannot be ruled out even if they are deleted.
If several people can be seen in a photo, it is the responsibility of the person filling out the form to ensure that all people in the picture consent to the processing of their data.
It is also possible to register to receive marketing e-mails from igus® GmbH using the form. We secure the registration through a so-called double opt-in procedure. We do this to ensure that the e-mail address provided really belongs to you. You will receive an e-mail with an activation link, possibly in a week's time after completing the form. By clicking on this link you confirm your consent.
Our promotional e-mails use tracking pixels. These are miniature graphics that are embedded in e-mails sent via HTML-format. They allow us to do statistical logfile analysis, as we can tell how many users opened each e-mail by how many users loaded the tracking pixel. Our aim is to optimise our online marketing campaigns.
The legal basis for processing your personal data to send marketing e-mails is Art. 6 Para. 1 a) GDPR. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future, for example by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained in every e-mail.
Transfer of data to third partiesThe photo box is provided by UpReach GmbH, Keithstraße 2-4, 10787 Berlin. In order to ensure the proper functioning of the processes described in these notes, the processed personal data will be passed on to UpReach GmbH. Further information about data protection at UpReach GmbH can be found at
https://www.upreach.com/datenschutz.
If you agree to receive marketing e-mails from us, we will pass on your data to our service provider Hubspot to the extent permitted by law. Further information can be found in the data protection information at

Deletion of dataIf you have not given your consent for igus® GmbH to publish your data, your photo will be deleted after 30 days.
If you have consented to the publication of your photo, it will only be deleted once your consent is revoked.
If you have consented to receive marketing e-mails, we will store your personal data for the duration of your subscription.
